I just came home from "being" with two women this afternoon. One was a young mom who had heard, for the first time, the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit nudging her to "grasp the challenge" rather than quit! It was an electric moment for her!! It would have been unkind and devaluing of me to exclaim, "Oh, finally! I hear Him all the time now!" How often Jesus could have said something similar to His followers, BUT HE CHOSE NOT TO! Instead, He chose to honor THEIR process, THEIR progress in Him. We, in turn, are invited to do the same to others. The other women, more my age, was choosing to face the 'giant' in her life....again. However, THIS time she was desiring not just to know "what" to do but "how" to do it! Another "yea, God!" moment for sure!! Don, it is heartwarming to know that the truths on the pages of "Transforming Together" are finding their place in your mind, in your heart. You are so right when you state that this is not just for women! In fact, the strongest endorsement on Amazon for this book is from a man! It is HUMAN to desire authentic spiritual mentoring!
